I long for days of plain things:
chairs on sidewalks
strolls along the streets
playing in the park
opening and closing
a wooden door…
Relentlessly they catch us:
sidewalks
streets
park
the iron-fenced door…
Villains go unbound:
thieves
robbers
rapists
murderers
representatives…
Corruption deprives us
schools
health
highways
safety…
Where is virtue hidden?
Why do wolves wear shields?
They twist Humans Rights:
La raison du plus fort est toujours la meilleure (1).
And sheep must accept fangs…
What country is this?
Children mugged
killed
for a pair of tennis shoes!
Girls and boys
Teens and adults
robbed
violated
shot !
Buses set ablaze
Out of savagery!
Democracy?
I pulse for PEACE:
chairs on sidewalks
strolls along the streets
playing in the park
opening and closing
a shaky door…
